Bastille Bad Blood X

10 years ago my favourite band, Bastille, released their debut album Bad Blood. Shortly after that I gifted lead singer Dan Smith with his first pair of Custom Converse. Anyone who has been with Custom Converse from the early days may remember the journey that first pair of Converse went on; from TV and Radio 1 Live Lounge appearances, multiple gigs across Europe and America to their untimely death during the bands last gig of 2013. "There's a hole in my sole."

So as the band celebrate the 10th Anniversary with a Bad Blood X tour it seemed fitting for me to drop in and surprise them with 4 pairs of fresh new shoes to enjoy for the years ahead! I've been working on these since the start of 2023, squeezing in painting time around the rest of your orders and over my weekends, so getting such a great reaction from the band has been incredible.

As I was waiting for Bastille to come on stage my phone was receiveing multiple notifications about instagram stories being posted by band which can still be viewed under the Bastille Highlight on my page. Then over the weekend I received these amazing backstage and on-stage photos from the band's photographer Joe Horridge

Dan's are a Keith Haring x To Kill A King x Custom Converse themed pair of Black Vans Old Skool trainers with Gold highlights. Mixing the old with the new, and making sure he's ready to celebrate To Kill A King's 10th Anniversary next year too!

Woody received Green and Black Adidas Gazelles personalised with Plymouth Argyle, P.A.F.C,  L1 Champtions 2022-2023, Green Army and Home Park lettering in gold. It's no secret that he's a huge Plymouth fan, and despite beating my own home team Cambridge United last season, I wanted to give him a sweet momento for winning the league in style!

Kyle's are Nike Dunk lows painted with Mario Kart power-ups, a checkered flag heel logo and finished off with Red laces and Nike Swoosh logos for that extra Mario Bros feel. Perfect for the gamer of the band!

Finally a gorgeous pair of Air Jordans for the bands backing singer, Bim, themed to her EP Beauty in Chaos with beautiful florals and leaves.

They have been incredibly loyal and generous with their support for Custom Converse over the last 10 years, and will have my support for all the albums ahead.
Keep your eyes peeled for a pair of these gracing a stage near you over the summer on the rest of the Bad Blood X tour!
